Aluminum Nameplates (anodised)

Nameplates are usually made of aluminum. The material is light in color and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Our anodized aluminum is of high quality (AlmG1).

Available thicknesses : 0.5 – 1.0 – 1.5 – 2.0 and 3.0mm.

Stainless Steel Nameplates

Are you looking for business signs that can take a beating or have a luxurious, durable, long-lasting look? Then choose stainless steel company signs. These are naturally rust-free and therefore have a long service life.

We can etch, engrave or print your stainless steel company signs.

Available thicknesses : 0.5 – 1.0 – 1.5 – 2.0 and 3.0mm.

Plastic Nameplates

A nameplate in a special shape or eye-catching color? Then is Acrylate, PVC or polycarbonate a good option. These materials are suitable for printing, cutting and milling. It’s easy to add different colors and create unique shapes. So the possibilities of plastic nameplates are almost endless!

Thickness Rowmark® platics : 0.8 – 1.6 – 3.2mm
Thickness polycarbonate sheets: 0.125 – 0.250 – 0.375 – 0.5 – 1.0mm
Thickness PVC sheets: 0.125 – 0.250 – 0.3 – 0.5 – 1.0 – 2.0mm

Shapes

All shapes and sizes are possible. A nameplate does not necessarily have to be square or rectangular. We manufacture nameplates in any shape. Just let us know which shape you want for your nameplates.

Sizes

We also do not use standard sizes. The smallest possible size is 10x10mm and the largest approx. 2000×1000 mm. Everything in between is no problem at all. When requesting, let us know which size you need and we will send you nameplates s in the desired dimensions.

Attaching your nameplates

Replato offers various options to attach your nameplates, both indoors and outdoors. We can supply nameplates with mounting holes with the diameter you specify.

We can also manufacture your nameplates with self-adhesive tape on the backside. This can be ‘standard’ tape, high tack 3M tape, or ‘foam’ tape.

The standard adhesive tape is suitable for permanent indoor use.
The strong adhesive 3M tape is suitable for permanent outdoor use.
The foam tape is suitable for uniqual surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

Protective foil on frontside

To ensure that your nameplate remains clean and 100% scratch-free until installation, we can cover them with a transparent protective foil.

Nameplates in screen printing

Of course, Replato works with the latest techniques, but the well-known ‘screen printing’ remains a large part of our daily work. It all has to do with the quality and durability of screen printed nameplates. Screen printing is the most well-known technique for printing on aluminium, stainless steel and plastic sheets such as acrylic and PVC.

In our production factory in Almelo, there are screen printing machines that mainly print single colors (up to a maximum of 4 colors). Especially large runs of nameplates and tagplates are flawlessly processed and printed here. RAL and PMS colours, which cannot be printed digitally due to the brightness, can still be screen printed with us.

Digital Printing

With digital printing, the ink is printed directly onto and into sheet metal. High resolution printing at 1440 x 1440 DPI is achievable. The difference to screen printing is that digital printing uses multicolors while printing, so that you can mix up colors to get full-color prints.

What are the advantages of digital printing?

  • Full color is possible
  • Color gradient printing is possible
  • Resolution up to 1140 x 1440 DPI
  • Chemical- and UV-resistant

Reoxyd®; tattoo in aluminum!

Replato has been using a unique printing technique since 1980s: Reoxyd®. We developed this technique ourselves and it is used to print special inks into the anodic layer of our anodized aluminium. You can compare this to a tattoo in a human skin. Thanks to Reoxyd® technology, you get aluminum nameplates and tagplates that are scratch-resistant and UV-resistant. Ideally suited for use in the industrial sector!

These are the advantages of Reoxyd®:

  • Scratch resistant (ideal for industrial use and resistant to vandalism))
  • Chemical resistant (easy to clean with high pressure water, chemicals and other cleaning products such as thinner or gasoline)
  • UV-resistant (because the inks are locked in, the sun cannot damage the color pigments easily)
  • Long lifetime (no further explanation needed, right?)

We can do Reoxyd® in screen printing, but also in digital printing.

Delivery specifications

Do you have a digital file or drawing available? If so, please send us this as a vector file (.EPS or .AI file) with your request.

Your digital file does not need to have any additional ‘bleed’ marks all around.

Of course we are also happy to make a custom design for you at a reasonable price. Just ask our sales department about the possibilities.

Do you have questions about nameplates?

Good question!
The main points are as follows:

  1. The format (length x width in mm)
  2. Type of material and desired thickness
  3. The application (indoors or outdoors / something special)
  4. Amount of products
  5. Whether there should be holes in the corners or self adhesive tape on the back
  6. Whether you want it printed and in how many colors

Please send the information with your request for a quotation. You can expect a quick free quotation from one of our colleagues.

Yes, this is possible. The only “problem” is that by default we have start-up costs which we pass on because we depend on our production. So it can be a very expensive product.

The average order quantity is approx. 100 pieces.
